2008 was the fourth year for the Desert Rocks Music Festival just outside beautiful Moab, Utah. The event brought people from all over and it was the best turn out to date. Even though the weather failed to cooperate for 3 of the 4 days, everyone who attended gave a big middle finger to mother nature and rallied through. The festival went from Thursday, May 22nd to Sunday, May 25th and the bands rocked out from 2pm until sunrise every night. Nearly 40 different bands played and included such acts as Del the Funky Homosapien, The Derek Trucks Band, TLO, Stonefed, Hot Buttered Rum, Royal Bliss, Wisebird, Elephante, Blue Turtle Seduction, and James Shook to name just a few (for a complete list, check out Desert Rocks Music Festival).

The event was a complete success. Stand Strong Again raffled off two pairs of skis from Icelantic AT Boards and a ton of sexy lingerie from 3Wishes Lingerie. Over 100 people participated in the raffle. Thanks goes out to our sponsors Icelantic AT Boards and 3Wishes Lingerie for their generous donations. Also, SSA would like to thank all the people who attended and supported the cause, as well as all the volunteers and security who made the 4th Annual Desert Rocks Music Festival a fantastic and memorable time.
